The New Year often means new health and fitness goals for many. Traveling to Washington, D.C. doesn’t mean you have to give up your goals. Check out our top tips below to keep you on track while you travel.

Take a Yoga class. Yoga classes can be found all around the city and once the weather warms up classes will head outside to local parks. Find a workout buddy, or maybe a group of them. The November Project is a free fitness community that gathers around the city a few mornings a week to workout. Locations vary, but the workouts stay the same. Get together with a group of people all working toward the same goal of getting healthy and fit. Eat healthy while you travel. It is a little known fact that healthy food can actually taste good. Washington, D.C. has some great local restaurants that will keep you eating right while you are in town.
