2017 NASWA Veterans Conference

One thing is for sure, we owe a lot to our United States veterans. They have put there lives on the line in battle and some have gave the ultimate sacrifice. When veterans come home, over the past several decades, it has been very hard for many of them to come back to normal life and even harder to find jobs. For years, The National Association of State Workforce Agencies has been holding a conference focusing on just that, Veteran jobs. This August 16-18 NASWA will be holding its 2017 Veterans Conference at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in beautiful Washington DC, a quick 10 minute walk from our Washington DC Hotel. What is The National Association of State Workforce Agencies and what does it do? NASWA’s mission and vision is to enhance the state workforce agencies’ ability to accomplish their goals, statutory roles and to be a leading national advocate for workforce development policy. They hold many of these sorts of meetings focused on workforce development all over the United States each year.

What should you expect at the 2017 NAWSA Veterans Conference?
