Ecobuild America will take place the 7th to the 10th of December at the Washington Convention Center next to our Washington DC Hotel. Ecobuild America is an educational event that informs and guides its attendees on the health and life of Ecobuild America. At this event, you can expect that it will feature many great things while also designing and constructing professionals from all over on how to improve built environment. This unique conference holds a lot of value because of it’s necessity and importance. The exhibition introduces a new strategy and materials to create high performance, sustainable structure technology. The event is being organized by AEC-St.
sustainable structure technology is green building friendly meaning that both in structure and the actual process is environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout the building’s life-cycle. For example, from siting to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation, and demolition it all is environmentally resourceful. Now this isn’t an easy thing to do, but since this movement is ever evolving it has become more complete in start to finish.
American Guest House is proud to also be conscious of our resources and how we use them. An example of this is with our towel system. We advise each guest to please leave them on the wrack if they do not need new ones. Just in doing this throughout the years we’ve saved environmentally on water and electricity. It’s the little things that really add up over time, but also practicing these little habits so they become routine. Ecobuild America is a wonderful way to really energize yourself with this community. DC can be cold in December, so pack warm layers and a warm jacket. It’s also a good idea to bring an umbrella, as the weather is so unpredictable.
