The 2017 AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition

The United States is one of the safest place in the world, thanks to it Military. We could never thank those men and women enough who split their blood on the battlefield both on American soil and abroad. Each year, the Association of the United States Army hosts its annual Meeting and Exposition and this October 9-11 The 2017 AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition will be held at the Washington Convention Center, which is just down the road from our Washington DC Bed and Breakfast.

The United States Army is the largest branch of the United States Armed Forces and performs land-based military operations. It is one of the seven uniformed services of the United States. Thee U.S. Army has its roots in the Continental Army, which was formed in 1775 to fight the American Revolutionary War, after the Revolutionary War, Congress created the United States Army in 1784.

In the fiscal year 2017, the strength for the Regular Army was 460,000 soldiers, the Army National Guard had 335,000 soldiers, and the United States Army Reserve had 195,000 soldiers, with a grand total of 990,000 soldiers. The US Army mission statement is “to fight and win our Nation’s wars, by providing prompt, sustained, land dominance, across the full range of military operations and the spectrum of conflict, in support of combatant commanders.”

At the 2017 AUSA Annual Meeting & Exposition you can expect to be a part of the largest land warfare exposition in the world. You will hear from many keynote speakers, hear stories from veterans and see glimpses of the newest technology for the battlefield. There will be hundreds of exhibits set up and also opportunity to connect with those in the field.
