ICI 2017 General Membership Meeting

On May 3rd-5th come join the Global Fund Industry community for the ICI 2017 General Membership Meeting (GMM) taking place near our Washington DC Inn at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel. This 3-day conference will be an opportunity for you to attend four educational and interactive events that will deepen your knowledge and expand your network. This year’s events are: the 59th Annual General Membership Meeting, the Mutual Fund Compliance Programs Conference, the Operations and Technology Conference, and the IDC Fund Directors Workshop.

At ICI 2017 GMM there will be a variety of sessions for you to choose from at each of these different events. Some of the session topics are: “Investing Today: Insights from Chief Investment Officers”, “Building and Maintaining an Effective Board”, “Reporting Up: The CCO’s Relationship with the Board”, “Managing Risk in an Unstable World”, and “Diversity in the Asset Management Industry.”  

In addition to the sessions, attendees will also get to hear from distinguished speakers who are some of the most successful in the field. This yea’s speakers include, Stanley A. McChrystal – General (Ret.), United States Army, and cofounder and partner of The McChrystal Group, Jeff Immelt – chairman of GE, and Ian Bremmer – noted political scientist, author, and analyst.

To attend the ICI 2017 GMM conference you can register on their website, and the ticket prices are: $1,450 for Members, $2,200 for Nonmembers, $700 for Directors, $700 for Federal government employees, and $1,450 for Member Exhibitors. Hotel rates at the Marriott Wardman Park are $364 per night, plus taxes. However, if you’re looking to save some money during your trip to DC, check out our room rates.
