National Model United Nations DC 2016

National Model United Nations Conference will take place at the Marriott Wardman Park near our Washington DC hotel. This National Model United Nations Conference will take place from the 11th to the 13th of November. It draws delegates from across the world, and people from many different communities and circumstances. The university students that will be attending this conference participate in discussions of issues at the forefront of international relations. Last year was very prosperous in terms of outcome with attendance. Over 800 students were present along with 50 faculty members. The conference includes a crisis simulation in the Security Council and briefings by distinguished speakers from the Washington, DC diplomatic community. It is conducted in a solid partnership with the Osgood Center for International studies. The Osgood Center for International Studies is the premier foreign policy program in Washington, D.C. They are a non-profit educational community that offers fantastic foreign policy programs as well as experiential learning to graduate college. Their message reaches students from across the globe.

Registration for the National Model United Nations Conference opened on March 15th, however they’re still accepting applications but be sure to get yours in fast. Delegates are encouraged to develop resolution writing skills, in the way of prompted scenarios and at regional Model UN simulations.
