September 25th-27th the APICS 2016 Conference will be held at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park, near our Washington DC bed and breakfast. Registration costs $1,529 for members and $1,779 for non-members for the full conference. If you would like to just attend two days of the conference it is $1,019 for members and $1,269 for non-members. The nightly room rate for conference attendees is $199 per night at the Washington Marriott Wardman Park. What can you expect at the conference? Every day there will be various sessions covering end-to-end supply chain topics that you can choose from, presentations with distinguished speakers, opportunities for CPE credit and facility tours. This year’s facility tours include Micron, Bluejacket Brewery, Reagan and Dulles airports, DC Water, Nationals Park stadium, and more. APICS is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as as sponsor of continuing education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, and you can apply to get CPE credit by visiting the Learning Market.
This year, the keynote speaker will include Bill MeDermott, Chief Executive of SAP and Mel Robbins, Commentator and Legal Analyst of CNN. Other presenters will include business leaders, authors and innovators who will impart their knowledge and expertise in their field at more than 60 educational sessions.
