If you would like to learn any of the above, an event not to be missed this year is the Miss Adams Morgan 2015 pageant, October 11th at the Washington Hilton. The 26th annual event is a traditional beauty and talent contest featuring some of the area’s most talented and fabulous drag queens in the Adams Morgan and Dupont Circle area. Giiiirlll!! Get your platforms and bellbottoms on, because this year’s theme is Soul Train – Disco Fever.
DuPont Circle, the neighborhood just south of our D.C. Inn, is home to a thriving LGBT community. This year’s event – as the ones in the past – will find a number of politicians, staffers, lobbyists, and other media elite in attendance. There will no doubt be a media blackout, so don’t fret if you would like to go in drag and are nervous about being spotted by FOX News’s all-day coverage of the event. You’ll need to reserve a table and tickets, so book now and we hope to meet you around the breakfast table the morning after (please no glitter on the carpet).
