Getting to DC Made Easy, Airlines that Service Washington Reagan National Airport

Washington Reagan National Airport (DCA) is the closest airport to downtown Washington, DC and only 5 miles from the American Guest House. It is also the only Metrorail accessible airport int the DC Metro area. Although, Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) and Dulles International Airport (IAD) are near the District, it takes over an hour to get to the city from either of those airports. Sometimes their fares are lower than the fares at National, but when you add in the transportation costs and the opportunity cost of the time you loose on the road, you often come out even or ahead. The following airlines service DCA: Air Canada, AirTran, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, Frintier, JetBlue, Southest, Sun Country Airlines, United, US Airways, US Airways Shuttle, and Virgin America. Unfortunately, you can’t get an international flight (except from Canada) to DCA (AKA Reagan National Airport); however, a lot of international carriers that route through New York City (or other major US hubs) can link you up with DCA as your final destination.
