Sunrise walks on the paths feel quieter than weekend afternoons at the Wharf.
Rentals for kayaks or bikes sell out on warm Saturdays — reserve ahead when possible.
Waterfront Activities pair well with a casual seafood lunch, then a Metro ride back north.
Wear layers; river breezes run cooler than Kalorama sidewalks.
After dark, stick to well-lit promenades and plan your return ride in advance.
We are happy to store luggage from 10am if your river morning starts before check-in.
Street parking near the water is scarce; SpotHero or garages beat circling.
Guests often ask us how Waterfront Activities fit between Mall museums — half-day blocks work best.
