What breakfast dishes do you serve at your DC Inn?
Every morning Chef Kevin serves a different delicious dish as he is always creating new recipes and in season specials. A few guest favorites are: French Toast Casserole, Veggie Omelette, Blueberry Pancakes, Belgium Waffles with compote, and Spinach Feta Quiche. To accompany your breakfast special, we additionally offer eggs, bacon or sausage, homemade granola, yogurt, fresh fruit salad, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, orange juice, and toast to choose from. After breakfast you’ll have the fuel you need for a busy day at the nation’s capital!
Does the B&B provide to-go options?
Yes! We understand that our guests have busy schedules, so we offer a to-go breakfast option to accommodate your early mornings. If you have to head out the door early and would like breakfast to-go, let the innkeeper know by 7 pm the night before and we’ll be sure to have your breakfast ready by the time you leave. Our to-go breakfast option includes: hard-boiled eggs, homemade granola, yogurt (fruity or plain), freshly cut fruit salad, toast, and orange juice. For your caffeine fix, we provide a coffee/tea/cookie station that is available on demand, 24/7!
What hours do you serve breakfast?
7:30 am -9:30 a.m. (kitchen closes at 9) Monday through Friday
8:00 am -10:00 a.m. (kitchen closes at 9:30) Saturday, Sunday, and Holidays
Can you make something to suite my dietary restrictions?
Yes! Chef Kevin is happy to prepare a gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free, or low sugar breakfast to accommodate a dietary restriction. If you would like a customized breakfast, please let us know as soon possible so that we can plan breakfast accordingly. Additionally, there is something in particular that you would like, let us know and we will do our best to accommodate!
