Our Washington DC hotel has a complimentary breakfast with every reservation. We offer a breakfast special that changes everyday. Though this is a different breakfast style, it has been complimented as one of our finest features. The selection is seasonal–our cuisine is only made with the freshest ingredients. That is why one would see pumpkin-apple-cider waffles in the fall, berry cobbler pancakes in the spring, hashbrown casserole in the winter etc. Every morning you will be plaited and served. There is also a selection of cereal, homemade granola, yogurt, toast, variety of jams, homemade muffins, juice and coffee. Often we have guests that have a particular favorite. If you would like to request something special from Chief Kevin, please email us. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated if notified in advance. Lodging in Washington DC is tricky in terms of breakfast, so make sure you stay with us to see how it’s done.

Meet Chief Kevin

Chief Kevin, born in Buffalo, NY, movked to the Washington D.C. area to pursue a career in cooking at the International Culinary Schools at the Art Institute of Washington. After graduating, he worked for Robert Wiedmaier at Wildwood Kitchen, and Mussel Bar Bethesda. He works at The Ritz Carlton in Pentagon City, VA, in the evenings.

“My grandmother was always an inspiration. I would love to just be around her and learn her recipes brought down from generation to generation. She has been my biggest influence in the food that I create,” Chief Kevin says upon reflection of his biggest aspiration in his career choice.

Classic breakfast dishes are executed with aplomb, but we offer variety. Cuisine alters from region to region, but our Washington DC dining makes you feel like you’re on a vacation whether you’re here for business of fun.

American Guest House Breakfast Special

Chief Kevin’s cuisine flair is accredited from his travel to England, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Prague, Turkey and Germany.  Come taste his vibrant breakfast specials at our Washington DC Bed and Breakfast.

CAN YOU SMELL THESE LITTLE TEMPTATIONS YET?

Because we are a small business, customer satisfaction means a lot. And we also see guests as a unique branch of family. We want you to return. Perhaps that is why we remain one of the top Washington DC B&Bs, because we take the extra steps that make a difference. And rest assured that no matter what your dining needs are, we are here to make your breakfast a wonderful experience.

LET’S TALK

Our Washington DC Accommodation let’s you make friends. This sounds strange, because breakfast is typical an introspective time, but we take a more foreign approach. Food is meant to be shared with conversation. We offer fruit salad to start, and then the main course. This creates time to enjoy what you’re eating with the people you’re eating with. Guests from all around the world join us. We’ve seen people who know someone who knows them; cultural exchanges; conference attendees get acquainted; friendships develop. Come see how great food can taste with interesting people.
