The Washington Israel Summit will be held from July 22-24, 2013 in Washington DC at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. The summit will gather over 5,000 Christians standing up and speaking up for Israel in our nation’s capital.

The Walter E. Washington Convention Center is located at 801 Mount Vernon Place NW, which is 15 minutes away with transportation from our DC lodging.

2013 EIA Energy Conference

The U.S Energy Information Administration is dedicated to informing sound energy policy through the gathering and independent analysis of data from various agencies. This year, the U.S. EIA will host its 2013 Energy Conference at the JW Marriott in Washington D.C from June 17 to June 18, 2013. The conference brings together leading researchers, business leaders, policy makers, and energy advocates to discuss and learn about new policies relevant to their respective organizations.

The Key Club International Convention 2013

The Key Club International Convention 2013 will take place July 3-7, 2013 in Washington DC, at the Washington Hilton on Connecticut Avenue in Washington DC. Every summer Key Club International celebrates a year of service at the international convention. Over 2,000 students and advisers will gather together to introduce new programs, present awards to outstanding clubs, attend educational workshops and elect international officers for the upcoming year.

Earth Month at Union Station Washington DC

In order to foster a public discussion on global warming, the Earth Day Network is sponsoring a month long event at Union Station in Washington DC. Beginning on April 1 and lasting to April 30 2013 ,Washington DC’s Union Station will educate visitors through interactive and environmentally friendly experiences. Visitors will have the opportunity to participate in public discussion panels or watch alternative energy demonstrations. The organizers are also working on a film festival, a green fashion show, and a farmers market.

As one of the busiest transit hubs in the United State, the Union Station also enables countless visitors to learn more about the various projects going on across the country to fight global warming. Given the rapid transformation our climate patterns have undergone, it’s now more important to spearhead a meaningful debate to save our planet for future generations.
