From May 29 – 31, 2013, the Omni Shoreman Hotel in Washington DC will serve as the gathering place for poverty researchers, policymakers, and community advocates working to improve the quality of life for our most vulnerable population. Participants at the 16th Annual Welfare Research and Evaluation Conference will have an opportunity to learn, network, and discuss the various topics surrounding the issue of poverty. Since 1989, the Alzheimer’s Association Advocacy Forum has served as a space to share personal stories by affected families.
