The OCA 40th anniversary 2013

This year, from July 18 to 21, 2013 the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington D.C. will host the OCA 40th anniversary. The 2013 National Convention will, serve as a homecoming for all who have been involved since our founding in 1973. The convention theme, “40 Years of Advocacy and Empowerment,” is an opportunity for thousands of people to gather through programs, workshops, events and activities designed to foster the next generations of Asian Pacific Americans (APA) community, government, business and corporate leaders

The LGBTQ day youth summit on June 26, 2013 will be focusing on the needs of foster children and the needs of these children. The summit will take place at the Washington DC convention center located in downtown DC. The Walter E. Washington Convention center is just a a little under 2 miles from our bed & breakfast in DC and right off the metro line.

The American Guest House is a wonderful way to enjoy the great city of Washington, DC as your travels will only be heightened with the personal service and hospitality of our innkeepers and the relaxation of a perfect nights rest. The ICDAR 2013

June 10, 2013 – 10:20 pm

The ICDAR 2013 conference will be held at the Washington DC Omni Shoreham hotel with the main conference sessions being held August 25-28, 2013, workshops on the 23rd and 24th and half-day tutorials on the 24th and 25th. A doctoral consortium will be held on the afternoon of the 25th.
