Health Datapalooza 2013

 

Today, more and more companies, academics, start-ups, and individuals are looking for ways to exploit the ever increasing volume of data.  This 21st century gold rush is poised to take place in the health sector as organizations, companies, governments, and individuals search for new insights and innovations to reduce cost, improve services, and ensure affordable health.

Those at the forefront of this movement will gather on June 3 to 4, 2013 at the Omni Shoreman Hotel for the Fourth Annual Health Data Palooza. This event hopes to bring 1,500 participants from across the nation and around the world to participate in break out sessions, training, meet-ups, and code-a-thons.  Participants will have the opportunity to engage developers working on new tools and services at the Apps Expo.

The National Museum of American Jewish Military History in Washington DC

The National Museum of American Jewish Military History which is located on 1811 R Street Northwest, just few blocks away from our Washington DC Hotel, is dedicated to the preservation of the significant contributions made by Jewish Americans to the peace and liberty of the United States.

The museum’s mission is to educate the public regarding the role Jewish Americans played  in the armed forces, and the efforts put forth in the battle against anti-Semitism.

The Museum includes two floors of permanent and special DC exhibitions.  In addition to exhibitions, the Museum features the Captain Joshua L. Goldberg Memorial Chapel and the Study Center that serves as site for the museum lecture series and other special programs.The Washington DC Jewish museum is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and is closed on Saturdays and most Jewish holidays.
