Restaurant review from one of our guests

Monday, May 7th, 2007
By the way, we had a nice dinner at Bistrot au Coin our last night (just past the Russia House). It was crowded and noisy, but good food and wine, and a classic French bistrot atmosphere — it could have been transplanted directly from Paris. You can pass this recommendation on to your guests too.

PERUVIAN RESTAURANT NEAR THE AmericanGuestHouse in DC

Wednesday, October 11th, 2006

Within about 10 minutes walking distance of the AmericanGuestHouse Bed and Breakfast, there are several restaurants from all over the world, for every taste and every budget.  You can either walk south towards Dupont Circle or North towards Adams Morgan and you will find an array of places to eat.

  • Granja D’oro located at 1832 Columbia Road, is a small sort of fast food Peruvian restaurant that offers very inexpensive and very tasty Baked, Fried and Roasted Chicken, Beef and Fish — They offer eat in and take out — We have eaten there many times. You’d pay about $7 for a half roasted chicken with a small salad and choice of rice, french fries or fried yuca.
