AJC Global Forum 2017

From June 4-6 the annual American Jewish Committee (AJC) Global Forum  will be held at the Washington Hilton, less than a block from our Washington DC bed and breakfast. This annual conference is the premier Jewish gathering that brings together people from over 70 countries for a three-day program that focuses on discussing the critical policies that affect the world Jewry. AJC 2017 will be an opportunity to hear from world leaders, speak with diplomats, and learn from fellow Jewish leaders from around the world.

This year’s conference theme is The Power to Act as it will highlight the impact we have when we choose to take action and advocate for the Jewish people. AJC Global Forum will provide skill-development sessions consist of plenary sessions, debates, smaller breakout sessions, policy addresses from Jewish leaders, and face-to-face advocacy training. Following the Call-to-Action Plenary on Tuesday, attendees will get the chance to meet and advocate with elected officials. In addition, there will be a program designed specifically for young Jewish leaders entitled ACCESS. The ACCESS Track will be a variety of innovative programs that will provide an opportunity for young Jewish leaders to grow and connect with one another.

The AJC 2017 registration fee is $700 up until May 9th or $850 after that date until the start of the conference. The AJC conference room rate at the Washington Hilton is $289 per night for June 4-5.
