Global Workforce Symposium 2016

At the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel, near our Washington DC inn, is the Global Workforce Symposium 2016 from October 5th-7th. The conference is an opportunity for you to connect and network with more than 1,900 leaders, industry pioneers and peers to further your career. Worldwide ERC is an organization dedicated to informing and connecting workforce mobility professionals around the world.

What can you expect at Global Workforce Symposium 2016? There will be sessions discussing a variety of topics including, “U.S. Government Relocation Myth Busting”, “Worldwide ERC Government Affairs Update”, “Are Traditional Assignments Dead?”, “Tracking Your Global Footprint:  Is Business Travel Putting Your Company/Employees in Jeopardy?”, “Lump Sum Programs…The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, “Imagine All the People: People Analytics and the Role of Global Mobility” and much more. Additionally, there will be a special event for young professional 40 and under to attend a symposium that focuses on expanding your network and becoming aware of the latest changes in the industry. This year’s keynote speaker the winner of the Humanitarian of the Year Award and South by Southwest Innovation Award, Mick Ebeling.

Prior to the conference there will be a GMS Strategic Mobility Training offered on October 4th and 5th. The program equipes HR practitioners and service providers for the future to help companies fulfill their talent management objectives. Registration for the convention costs $1,425 for members and $1,625 for non-members by August 26th. After August 26th, registration is $1,525 for members and $1,725 for non-members. The group room block at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel reserved for this event is currently full.
