Scotts 2014 North America Sales Conference

As a child I had an expansive backyard garden that featured monstrously large squash. We had Miracle-Gro in the garage and I hooked the spray canister to a hose and fertilized probably twice a week, which was far beyond the recommended amount one should apply. What resulted were giant vines of squash snaking up trees and sprouting large vegetables from random branches. Needless to say, I was sold on the power of Miracle-Gro, a company owned by the Scotts Company.

This year the Scotts Company will hold their 2014 North America Sales Conference at the Washington Hilton, just a short walk from our Washington D.C. Inn. The event will span October 11th through the 17th. Miracle-Gro – known primarily as a domestic manufacturer of fertilizer – has evolved from a green powder that one mixes with water and adds to plants to a variety of means of application, including little fertilizer steaks, a spray hopper on the end of a garden hose, and little pellets one can sprinkle on plants. Clearly the company continues to search for creative ways to deliver fertilizer to plants. We hope some of the conference attendees will join us around our breakfast table.
