Children learn eating habits at a young age. Early patterns will help them make healthy decisions as adults. Everyone knows that you are what you eat and the saying holds true with exercise. With all of the tempting sugary treats for kids to fall prey to, a great way to teach them overall wellness–mind, body, spirit–is through engaging. This November 22-23rd at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, right next to our DC hotel, Power Kids Expo is holding a free two-day conference. This event targets kids and their parents by informing┬áthem on the latest in health-, technology-, and educational-trends.

Families can join in on the fun, together, and learn what makes a fit mind and body through eating, after-school programs, STEM education, and many more topics to come. This event runs from 10am-4pm on both days. The Regan building is located on 1300 Pennsylvania Ave NW and you can register through Evenbrite. Admission to this event is on-going but it is best to sign up early.

Teach your children the importance of making healthy choices so one day they can teach theirs.
