Wood is everywhere. The banister in a house, the napkins for breakfast, great-grandmothers’ dinner plates with an aged cherry color, upscale bar coasters. So I think you all get the point–wood is important and we use it a lot. This August 27th from 8am to 5pm at the Walter E Washington Convention Center, next to our lodging in DC, WoodWorks will hold their 2014 Mid-Atlantic Wood Solutions fair. Anyone involved in this industry can attend this day-long educational event. The overall purpose in this convention is to teach new methods and technical support on the use of wood in non-residential and multi-family apartments. There is no cost to attend, however those interested must register via the link above. WoodWorks wants to make the construction process easier with those designing and constructing buildings.
This event will be separated with different seminars and speakers throughout the day. Attendees can pick and choice which topics they prefer, or attend all of them! To view the full schedule, visit the registration website for Mid-Atlantic Wood Solutions.
