The Washington Marriott is hosting the IAAN 2014 Summit on August 7, 2014. The International Association of African Non-Governmental Organization has been given the opportunity ti host the Social Accountability Summit that will be a side even to the African Leader Summit. The IAAN is nonprofit organization that networks both regionally and internationally to encourage joint problem solving, resource exchange cooperation, coordination and coalition building.

This organization is the voice for thousands of Africans, Caribbean and Latin Americans who are doing great charity work in their various countries. The theme of this summit is “Call To Good Governance.” Many invited Presidents will speak on the state of governance and what improvements have been made and what needs to be done in the future. Mayor of Jamaica, Angela Brown Burke, Commonwealth of Dominica, Susan Markhaw, and Governance Specialist, Dr. Deji Olaore will be discussing the subject matter on how to improve transparency in both private and public sectors.

Our Washington DC Hotel is located about 10 minutes from Washington Marriott. We hope to see some of you in August for the IAAN 2014 Summit.
