The Society of American Archivists is holding their Annual Meeting August 10, 2014. The SAA has been committed to ensuring the diversity of its membership and leaders, the profession, and the archival record. It is important for any historical evidence like documents, manuscripts, letters, publications, photos, and memorabilia to be responsibly kept safe and preserved. This is what the SAA strives to accomplish, to keep history, the story of the past, full, truthful, and unbiased.
Last year the SAA council adopted the Principles and Priorities for Continuously Improving the SAA Meeting. These guided principals work to ensure the continued development of the Annual meeting.
