The National Council of University Research Administrators is holding their annual meeting this August 10, 2014 through August 13, 2014 at the Washington Hilton. There will be over 2,000 research administrators attending to engage in two days of workshops, senior level seminars, presentations, discussions, open forums, and networking opportunities.
NCURA works to share knowledge and experience the field of research administration with a well-respected and collegial community. Professional development, knowledge and leadership are important goals which makes NCURA the internationally recognized resource it is today.
If you are not an attendee of this conference you could also be a volunteer. NCURA’s Annual Meeting 2014 is offering multiple volunteer opportunities. Teach Team volunteers help to ensure the success of the meeting by providing technical support during conference sessions and the volunteers receive a 50% rebate on their registration fees! Another interesting volunteer opportunity is the Fitness Track where one can volunteer to lead the attendees in various fitness activities such as Yoga, Zumba and Fun Run. NCURA not only finds knowledge important to it’s attendees, but also health and fitness. Our Washington DC Inn is located right across from the Annual Meeting and would love to have you stay with us while you are here in DC attending this conference. Look forward to seeing some of you in August!
