Philanthropic associations look for new ways to acquire and maintain donors every chance they get. This year Exponent Philanthropy hosts their national conference at the Washington Hilton from October 29th – November 1st. Small-scale philanthropic organizations face a different set of challenges than their larger brethren. But their challenges also carry with them a set of opportunities, since they are unencumbered by allegiances to mega donors that may have conflicting interests and can experiment with a variety of methods of acquiring sources of funding and different platforms that larger foundations might scoff at.

The four-day event will include new-member registration, a learning lab that will be a source of education for members, a hill visit to meet with members of congress, a service project, and countless opportunities to network with other conference attendees. The conference will also crowd-source ideas to share about new methods of acquiring funding and other topics.
Our Washington DC Inn is not unlike a small philanthropic foundation. We hope attendees join us for a stay.
