Teen Pregnancy Prevention Grantee Conference 2014

PLEASE BE AWARE:  Registration for this event is CLOSED.  This is an INVITATION ONLY conference (only specific HHS-funded grantees and HHS staff are eligible to attend). 

The department of Health and Human Services is the United States government’s principle agency or protecting the health and well-being of all Americans.June 4-6 the department of Health and Human Services will be holding it’s HHS Teen Pregnancy Prevention Grantee Conference 2014 in Washington DC.

For the first time this conference will bring together all grantees funded to prevent teen pregnancy and promote adolescents sexual health. By holding this conference it will help to eliminate disparities in teen pregnancy and sexual health. This conference will be providing training, technical assistance, and networking for HHS grantees. This conference will also include keynote speakers workshops, roundtable sessions, skill-building sessions, and grantee poster presentations. Those who are going to attend this conference would most likely be program administrators, frontline staff, and program evaluators. HHS is working hard to eliminate the amount of teen pregnancy occurrences we have in the US. Along with providing the proper resources and to in order to analyze and respond to the emerging trends in teen pregnancy.

By holding this conference it will allow a greater connection with other teen pregnancy and sexual health grantees to network and share their lessons, practices, and resources. The conference is being held at the Washington Hilton, which is located right across from out Washington DC Inn. We are thankful to those attending the conference to support HHS and all of their hard work in trying to better understand how to tackle teen pregnancy and sexual health.
