Education is a high priority. Those who make better education a possibility are often neglected from the mainstream media or public eye – but the work they do is important nonetheless. Community colleges often have the hardest time, being the least recession proof of the education sphere and often overworked, understaffed and generally overwhelmed, or so is their popular image. But there are community colleges all across the coutnry innovating, leading by example and when combined they form the AACC or the American Association of Community Colleges.

Every year AACC holds a convention to discuss a forward path for education, this time honored tradition now extends into its 94th year. The AACC Convention for 2014 will be held in the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. near our Washington DC Inn. Over 2,000 community college presidents and administrative staff will be attending, which presents the best opportunity for anyone interested in or appreciative of education to truly be engaged with our national educations content and its leadership.
