American Israel Public Affairs Committee 2014

An open secret is that Israel plays an important part in America’s foreign policy. What that role is or should be, however changes vastly depending on who answers the question. Due to the tenuous political relationship of the two countries, which at times appears more than a bit strained, there is a need to establish long-term bipartisan support for America’s role in Israel.

To fill this perceived need American Israel Public Affairs Committee or as its more commonly known AIPAC was founded – labeling themselves America’s Pro-Israel lobby. For decades it has played a key role in both the US presidential debates as well as US foreign policy on the Middle East. Irregardless of your opinion they have been highly effective in their resolve, their methodology and their influential conventions.

The rare opportunity to see these powers at work is upcoming in Washington DC. Specifically at AIPAC’s Annual Policy Conference on March 1-4th at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.

We welcome all kinds at our Washington DC Hotel, and thus suggest this event despite its price for the significance it has to our country and the policies of a nation – regardless of your background.
