Because of tax reform, the many budget battles, and the atmosphere surrounding education reform, much of the support for arts and arts education is facing many challenges on Capitol Hill.  Therefore, March 24 – 25 is a day designed to strategize, network and learn.   At this year’s Arts Advocacy Day 2014, grassroots advocates from across the country come to Washington DC to meet with their members of Congress.  Their hope is to secure support for issues like arts education policy, the charitable tax deduction, and most importantly, funding for the National Endowment for the Art.  This event is hosted by Americans for the Arts and cosponsored by 85+ national arts organizations.

The Omni Shoreham Hotel is the location for the kick-off of this important dayt.  Our Washington, DC Hotel is only a 13 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride away.  Arts Advocacy Day in Washington, DC is the place to make your voice heard where it counts.
