The 23rd National Conference on Family Literacy will be held on February 17th – 19th at the Renaissance Washington, DC. This conference will be comprised of educators, literacy professionals, researchers, advocates, coalition members, and policy makers from across the United States who’s primary goal is to help students hone the skills needed to communicate confidently and effectively. Through the process of learning to write well, students learn how to think clearly and to express themselves eloquently and persuasively. Therefore, eliminating so many problems that leads to unhappy situations throughout the student’s life.
This conference will help connect it’s participants with development opportunities for full-time schoolteachers and administrators. Participating partners of this conference will be providing mostly non-consumable and/or reproducible support materials that save time and money while supporting teachers with year-round access to experienced and qualified mentors. These people are helping to create a kinder, gentler world. Something that we all want for our children and loved ones.
The NCFL Conference destination is in the heart of Penn Quarter. The Renaissance hotel is located between Capitol Hill and the White House which is a short Metro ride or 30 minute walk on a fair day from our Washington DC lodging.
