HCI-DC 2014 – Health Care Innovation Day

February 6th is deemed as Health Care Innovation Day.  There is no charge to attend the HCI-DC 2014 Conference held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel.  This day long event will feature key note speeches, expert panels and collaborative networking sessions.  Policymakers, federal employees, health care advocates, business leaders, business development executives, academics, and product and technology specialists with a focus on interest in health information technology, particularly in the area of interoperability .  Highlighting New York Times Best Selling Author, Malcolm Gladwell as the Keynote Speaker for the event.  Mr. Gladwell was recently featured on 60 Minutes.

The Gary and Mary West Health Institute (WHI) and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) are co-hosting HCI-DC 2014.  This is the fourth year, the West Health Institute’s “Health Care Innovation” series of conferences are held in Washington, D.C.  (HCI-DC) routinely convenes policy makers and industry authorities from the public and private sectors to discuss innovative solutions to our nation’s health care challenges.  The meeting will also be open to the media and live webcast.
