Nestled in the DuPont Circle Neighborhood of Washington DC, The Phillips Collections allows its patrons to experience superb works of modern art in an intimate setting. Opened to the public in 1921 by founder Duncan Phillips, The Collection is home to works by such artist as Renoir, Rothko, Bonnard, O’Keeffe, Van Gogh and Diebenkorn.

Opening, October 12, 2013, The Collection will host the exhibit “Van Gogh Repetitions.” The show takes a fresh look at the artistic process of Vincent van Gogh and features 35 paintings and works on paper and examples of 13 repetitions. “Van Gogh Repetitions” will be on display at The Phillips Collection through January 26, 2014. The Phillips Collection is private institution which relies on the support of admission; therefor it is not affected by the 2013 Federal Government Shutdown.
