The Cathedral’s knowledgeable staff is prepared to offer visitors guided tours, but self-touring is also permitted. Be prepared to catch a wonderful glimpse of Washington DC While touring the Cathedral grounds, whose elevation offers the highest city view.

Guests at our Washington DC accommodations are able to catch the N6 Metro Bus ride at the intersection between Q St. and Massachusetts Avenue. This bus line stops within walking distance of the National Cathedral at Cathedral and Wisconsin (see map below for more details).
