Workshop on International Humanitarianism & Security Wed. Nov. 14- Fri. Nov.16

The Ambivium Institute on Security and Cooperation, which focuses on both domestic and international security issues, will host a conference on international security in Washington, DC this week. The Institute, which examines such topics as governance, finance, and immigration security issues, will hold its Workshop on International Humanitarianism & Security from Wednesday, November 14 to Friday November 16, 2012. The Workshop will focus on the nexus of humanitarian aid with international security issues, and will concentrate on zones of conflict.

Capitol Christmas Tree heads to DC

Is the most beautiful season of the year and DC is getting ready to celebrate!. A 73 foot tall tree is heading to our Nation’s capital all the way from Colorado. The tree is scheduled to stop in several Colorado Cities before making its way to Washington DC where it will be on display at the annual lighting of the Ellipse on December 1st, 2012. A tradition started in 1923 by president Calvin Coolidge.
