WHITE HOUSE 2012 SPRING GARDEN TOUR

Finally folks, the news is out, the White House announced its 2012 Spring Garden Tour! It will happen on April 21st from 9am to 4pm and April 22nd 2012 from 9am to 3pm.

The Tours are free and open to the public; but you’ll definitely need a ticket and you will need to stand in line both days to get your timed tickets.  A little helpful insight from Jonathan, one of our Innkeepers, he did the tour last year and arrived at about 1pm and got a timed-ticket for the 3pm tour. He said the tour is self guided, even though there are some people standing around to answer questions, and it took about 1 hour.  So good luck everyone and enjoy the tour!

The National Park Service will distribute the free tickets at the Ellipse Visitor Pavilion located at 15th and E Streets on each tour day beginning at 8:00AM and it is only 1 ticket per person on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please visit the White House website for further details and if you need a place to stay we are the best Bed and Breakfast in Washington DC and our rates are much better than many Hotels in Washington DC.  Lucia Rosan
