The Jewish Historical Society archives and chronicles the contributions of Jewish Americans in Washington, DC. The Museum is located in the historic 1876 Adas Israel Synagogue—the oldest in the Washington, D.C., area. It has been listed on the register of Historic places.

The museum is open to the public Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. Please visit the museum’s website for additional information on current exhibitions.
