“A New America Art Festival”, Washington DC

The H Street corridor is an up and coming neighborhood in DC. New restaurants  have been consistently popping up throughout the corridor. The Atlas Performing Arts Center is the center of culture and arts in the community. The Center hosts multi-cultural dance classes and programs that cater to all demographics as well as hosting performances alongside it’s sister venue, The H Street Play House.

Over the next several weeks the Atlas performing arts center will be holding a festival, “Intersections: A New America Art’s Festival”. The festival will run from February 25th through March 13th. The performances will consist of an array of genre’s  of diverse cultural relevence. The Cafe Concerts are free and include Flamenco dancing, Nigerian percussion, swing dancing and more. There will also be workshops and art exhibitions. There is a shuttle that runs from the Gallery Place metro stop that will take you to the theater for your convenience.
