I would go back to La Tomate Italian Bistro , great ambiance and the food is pretty good too and it is only a 10 minute walk from the guest house.

It use to be so easy to tour the White House…before 9/11 happened…. 

Please take a look at the link below and see if you qualify for one of the options given, otherwise,  you should contact your Congressman.  However, this option may take as long as 6 months, so plan ahead.

You can file an inquiry with DHS systems to have erroneous information corrected and not be single out for special screening each time you cross the check points.
